Billy Ward and His Dominoes were an African-American rhythm and blues vocal group formed in the 1950s. Billy Ward, with the help of talent agent and business partner, Rose Marks, formed the vocal group comprised of Ward’s vocal students who would perform at talent shows and later go on tour. Two notable members were Mr. Excitement, Jackie Willson, and Clyde McPhatter, who would later form the group, The Drifters.
