Biography / Administrative History
Billy Ward and His Dominoes were an African-American rhythm and blues vocal group formed in the 1950s. Billy Ward, with the help of talent agent and business partner, Rose Marks, formed the vocal group that was comprised of Ward’s vocal students. The group would perform at talent shows and tour. Two notable members were Jackie Wilson and Clyde McPhatter, who would later form the group, The Drifters.
