Elton John (born Reginald Kenneth Dwight, March 25, 1947) is an English singer, songwriter, and composer. He rose to international prominence in the early 1970s with a series of commercially successful albums and singles and is known for both ballads and rock songs. John was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994.

The Sally Kwait Collection on Elton John dates from 1973 to 1988 and includes some undated materials. The collection consists of posters, photographs, and concert programs documenting Elton John’s concert tours during this period. The collection provides insight into Elton John’s touring in the 1970s and 1980s, and the role of promotional materials in documenting the careers of major recording artists. The collection is arranged by format and then alphabetically.
