Series I: Posters, 1980-2016, undated, contains promotional posters of multiple sizes primarily documenting Cyndi Lauper's solo career; there is one record store poster from her 1980 band, Blue Angel. This series contains posters of art photography of Lauper, record store advertisements for album releases, promotional film posters, and concert posters. Of particular interest to Northeast Ohio are posters from two Lakewood Civic Auditorium shows from 2004-2005, both featuring limited edition artwork by Sandusky Bay Poster Works. This series documents the range and evolution of Lauper's musical career and personal style; it also touches upon her film career.
