Scope and Contents
Series I: Documents spans the years 1970 to 2009, including some undated materials, and contains documentation on the creation, administration, accounting and budgeting, contracting, distribution, marketing, production, and editing of the Austin City Limits television show. The documents are broken into five subseries by the office of creation: for Austin City Limits that includes executive producers, LickonaVision, editor, and associate producer/archivist; and for KLRU that includes the Community Engagement Department as it pertains to Austin City Limits.

Access
Performance contracts between KLRU and artists for the Austin City Limits television show are CLOSED for a period of at least 20 years from the date of such contract. Some of the materials in this series are confidential and are, therefore, RESTRICTED. Access copies of these materials will have to be created prior to use. All CLOSED and RESTRICTED materials are identified at the folder level. Consult the Library and Archives staff in advance of your visit to ensure access to these materials is available.
