The Kent Beyda Collection spans the years 1966 to 2002, with a primary focus on the years 1979 to 1986. The collection is organized into series that contain radio recordings and documents pertaining to the music videos and radio shows Beyda has worked on. The radio recording series includes audiocassette tapes of California radio broadcasts of many punk bands, such as the Ramones and Pere Ubu. Biography / Administrative History
Kent Beyda is a film editor from Los Angeles, California. While he also works in the movie industry, Beyda has contributed significantly to the music industry by working on music videos for Allan Arkush, Dokken, Bette Midler, Mick Jagger, Rod Stewart, and Barbara Streisand.
