The Mike Cretsinger Collection is dated 1973 to 2004 and includes undated materials. The collection consists of flyers, tour programs, trading cards, and posters. All of the materials document the band Yes, with the exception of a tour program for Elton John.
Biography / Administrative History
Yes is a prograssive rock band formed in London in 1968. The original lineup consisted of singer Jon Anderson, bassist Chris Squire, guitarist Peter Banks, keyboardist Tony Kaye, and drummer Bill Bruford, buth the band has numerous formations with 19 musicians as full-time members. While Yes has explored several musicial styles, they are regarded as progressive rock pioneers. Yes was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017.
