Scope and Contents
The collection consists of two 16" x 20" color photographs of Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead by photographer Rob Cohn. "Bird Song" features Garcia playing the guitar at the microphone and is dated June 30, 1995. "Forever Young" features Jerry Garcia and Neil Young and is dated November 3, 1991. The photographs are limited edition prints signed by the photographer.
Biography / Administrative History
Jerry Garcia (August 1, 1942 – August 9, 1995) was an American singer-songwriter and guitarist, best known for his work as the lead guitarist and as a vocalist with the band Grateful Dead. Garcia was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Grateful Dead in 1994.
Neil Young is a Canadian-American singer-songwriter and musician. Young was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1995.
