Scope and Contents
The Russell Sherman Collection of Cleveland Concert Flyers and Photograph consists of digital and physical flyers for Cleveland area concerts featuring bands: Pere Ubu, Kneecappers, Dr. Bloodmoney, Squelch, California Speedbag, and other artists from the Cleveland area. The collection will be of interest to researchers studying the history and promotion of rock concerts and venues in Cleveland, circa 1970s and 1980s.
Existence and Location of Originals
After digitization, original concert flyers in this collection were returned to the donor on August 27, 2016.

Acquisition Note: The Russell Sherman Collection of Cleveland Concert Flyers and Photograph was received by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, Inc., as a gift from Sherman on August 27, 2016. This acquisition was made during a Scan Day event, funded by a Common Heritage grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
