- Scope and ContentsThe Natalie Merchant Ophelia Postcards consist of a set of 21 promotional postcards from Merchant’s 1998 album, Ophelia.
- Biography / Administrative HistoryNatalie Merchant in an American alternative rock singer-songwriter. She joined the folk-rock band 10,000 Maniacs in 1981 and was the lead singer and primary lyricist for the group. She remained with the group for their first five albums and left to begin her solo career in 1993. She has since released seven studio albums.
- NotesAcquisition Note: The Natalie Merchant Ophelia Postcards were received by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a gift from Natalie Merchant on April 18, 2003.
