- Scope and ContentsThe Beachcombers Photographs are dated circa 1964 and include three 8.5 x 11.5 black and white photographs of The Beachcombers with Keith Moon. Two of the photographs show the band while performing and one is a posed group shot.
- Biography / Administrative HistoryThe Beachcombers were a local British band that formed in the early 1960s. Members of the Beachcombers included John Schollar, Tony Brind, Ron Chanery, Norman Mitchener, and Keith Moon. Keith Moon left the Beachcombers in 1964 to become the drummer for the Who.
- NotesAcquisition Note: The Beachcomber Photographs were received by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a gift from John Schollar on January 17, 2003.
