The collection is dated 1975 and consists of a 55 by 40-inch color-tinted print of Ringo Starr as the Pope from the Ken Russell film Lisztomania. The print is by photographer, Nancy Lee Andrews.
Biography / Administrative History
Nancy Lee Andrews is a model turned professional photographer. Andrews began a photographer after receiving encouragement from Ringo Starr, with whom she was previously engaged from 1975 to 1980. Her works includes fashion and rock and roll photography, and has published two books, A Dose of Rock 'n' Roll and Ringo Starr: Photographs.
