The collection consists of two 13" x 16" color photo prints of Bob Dylan from 1965, Washington, DC. The uncropped image was used on the cover of the album "Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits."
Biography / Administrative History
Rowland Scherman is an American photographer. Born in 1937, Scherman has photographed many of the iconic cultural, political, and musical events of the 1960s, including the Newport Folk Festival, the Beatles first United States concert, and Woodstock. He won a Grammy Award in 1968 for his photograph for the cover of Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits.
