- Scope and ContentsThe Total Request Live Fan Poster is undated. It is a handmade sign used in front of the MTV studios during the TRL (Total Request Live) broadcast.
- Biography / Administrative HistoryTotal Request Live (TRL) is an American television program that features popular music videos. It debuted on MTV in the fall of 1998 and was originally hosted by Carson Daly. The show featured guests and a video count and was used as a promotional tool for musicians and actors. TRL played the ten most requested music videos as voted by views via phone or online. TRL was cancelled in fall of 2008.
