Scope and Contents
The Craig Bobby Collection of Publicity Materials span the years 1974 to 2002 and contain undated materials. The collection consists of promotional photographs, press releases, and press kits for a number of bands, record labels, and radio stations. Included are NEO sound artists: Devo, Pere Ubu, and Rachel Sweet. The collection documents the publicity efforts of bands in the last quarter of the 20th century. The materials are arranged alphabetically.
Biography / Administrative History
Craig Bobby was editor of the Cleveland based heavy metal zine, The Iron Planet, which ran from 1983 to 1994.

Acquisition Note: The Craig Bobby Collection was received by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a gift from Craig Bobby on January 12, 2017.
