Scope and Contents
The Tommy Shannon Collection on Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble contains tour itinerary books and a poster from Shannon's time playing bass as a member of Double Trouble. The poster is for a show at Antone's in Austin, Texas, and dates from approximately 1981. The tour books cover the period 1985-1990 (including the group's final shows at Alpine Valley Music Theatre in Wisconsin); many of them are annotated. The collection is arranged chronologically.

Tommy Shannon is an American musician known for his work with Stevie Ray Vaughan. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2015.
