The Lou and Jan Shone Lead Sheets for the Mamas and the Papas are for two songs performed by the group at the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967. One sheet is for "Creeque Alley," and there are two copies for "Dedicated to the One I Love." According to the donor, these lead sheets were used by the band on stage at the festival.
Biography / Administrative History
The Mamas and the Papas were an American folk-rock group active in the 1960s. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
