Scope and Contents
The Robert F. Toomey collection consists of promotional stickers for the Cleveland radio station WMMS, a souvenir program from a Cleveland-area Beatles convention, and an advertisement for Beatles recordings on Capitol. Most of the items in the collection are undated. The collection is arranged by size and format. The collection provides a glimpse into the culture of Cleveland-area rock fans and collectors and helps show how local rock radio stations promoted themselves over the years.
