- Biography / Administrative HistoryThe Remains are an American rock band founded in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1964. They garnered a cult following in New England in the mid-1960s, and supported the Beatles as an opening act during that band's final U.S. tour in 1966. The Remains broke up shortly thereafter, but regrouped in the late 1990s and continue to play a few shows a year.
