This trial occurred after a sheriff in Broward County, Florida, obtained an order to prevent the selling of the album As Nasty As They Wanna Be by the rap group 2 Live Crew.

2 Live Crew was a hip-hop group from Miami, Florida, active in the 1980s and 1990s.
