- Scope and ContentsThe Jerry Zolten Collection documents distinct parts of the music industry. The first series contains filmed interviews with the founder of Specialty Records, Art Rupe, and folk singer Pete Seeger, conducted by Zolten in 2011 and 2012. The second series contains examples of various record company sleeves for 10-inch records; these sleeves are not dated. This collection will be of interest to researchers of record labels and folk music.
- Biography / Administrative HistoryJerry Zolten is an educator, author, musician, music producer, and scholar of American roots music and popular culture. He is a professor at Penn State Altoona.
