The Cynthia Dobson Photographs of Frank Zappa are from 1967 and 2012. The collection contains one colorized photograph of the Frank Zappa statue in Vilnius, Lithuania. The collection also contains two low resolution 11" x 14.5" prints of a scan of a black and white image of the donor with Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention. Biography / Administrative History
Frank Zappa (December 21, 1940 - December 4, 1993) was an American composer, singer-songwriter, electric guitarist, recording engineer, record producer, and film director. During his career, spanning over three decades, Zappa released more than 60 albums. He was inducted posthumously into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1995.
