He left a position with ABC as program director at the then top-rated KLOS in Los Angeles in 1980 to assume a position as media coordinator and tour manager for the 1980 Alice Cooper North American tour, after which he returned to radio broadcasting in 1982. Since then, Damion has held on-air personality positions at several Southern California radio stations, including KMET-FM Los Angeles, KPRI-FM and KGB-FM San Diego, KKCY-FM San Francisco, KLSX-FM Los Angeles, and KMVI-FM in Maui, Hawaii.
