The Philly Pop Music Collection spans the years 1961 to 2012, and it is divided into two series: audio and video recordings, and papers and photographs. Both of these series document Philadelphia's musical legacy from the perspective of George Manney, an active participant in the city's music scene.

Acquisition Note: The Philly Pop Music Collection was received by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, Inc. as gifts from George Manney in 2011, 2012, and 2014.
