The George Meier Collection spans the years 1973-1974 and includes some undated materials. The collection contains 1/4-inch reel audio recordings of syndicated radio programs and artist interviews. Artists featured in this collection include: Jefferson Airplane, Jefferson Starship, John Mayall, Rolling Stone, and the Who. The collection provides insight into the history of syndicated radio programs. The tapes are organized alphabetically by label title.

George Meier was the publisher of Walrus, a FM radio trade publication, specializing in album reviews and airplay recommendations.
