The Gene Pitney Videotapes are dated 1993 and contain undated materials. The collection consists of three VHS tapes from the Gene Pitney International Fan Club of performances by Pitney. “A Piece of Pitney” at the Casino at Hampton Beach, NH, “An Evening With...Gene Pitney” and “Something’s Gotten Hold of My Heart and You’re the Reason.”
Biography / Administrative History
Gene Pitney (February 17, 1940-April 5, 2006) was an American singer-songwriter, musician and sound engineer. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002.
