- Scope and ContentsThe Collection on the Kinks consists of a scrapbook of newspaper clippings and promotional items related to the Kinks. The materials date from 1970 through 1997, with the bulk of the clippings dating from 1970 to 1981. The contents of the scrapbook were removed for preservation purposes, but the original order of the materials was maintained--the exception being oversized items, which are stored separately. There are two non-Kinks items in this collection, a poster of the Rolling Stones, and an album flat for the Anthology of British Rock.
