- Biography / Administrative HistoryTheresa Chambers was a booking agent for the New York City club the Mercury Lounge. Chambers was the first booker to bring acts such as the Jesus and Mary Chain, Sinead O'Connor, and The Sugarcubes to the United States, and was instrumental in showcasing bands such as Hüsker Dü, Mazzy Star, and the Pixies.
