The Mike Hoyt Collection spans the years 1968 to 1980. The collection materials, which consist of a postcard, concert poster, autographed concert poster reprint, and two separate autographs related to the Jimi Hendrix Experience, Grateful Dead, and psychedelic poster artist Rick Griffin, are arranged chronologically. The collection provides a glimpse into the late 1960s San Francisco music and art scene, as well as the promotion of rock artists and concerts and the graphic design of the period.
