Scope and Contents
The Collection on Tommy Edwards spans the years 1955 to 2009 and consists primarily of audiovisual recordings, newspaper clippings, photographs (some autographed to Edwards), posters, and publications related to Edwards' career and Tommy Edwards Records. Also included is a photocopy of Edwards' honorable discharge from the U.S. Army, promotional caricatures of Edwards, and several negatives. The materials provide insight into the personal life and career of Edwards, the music scene of the greater Cleveland area, and the continuation of Tommy Edwards Records after his passing in 1981. The Collection on Tommy Edwards is arranged by type of material and then by title. Some material is stored out of sequence or separately due to size and condition concerns.

Acquisition Note: The Collection on Tommy Edwards was purchased from Michele Rambaldo, widow of collector Frank "Chuck" Rambaldo, former owner of Tommy Edwards Records, by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, Inc. on July 22, 2011.
