- Scope and ContentsThe Genesis Collection is comprised of items surrounding the announcement and subsequent Turn It On Again concert tour in 2007. Items included from the tour are photographs from a press conference, a press release, booklets, and stage schematics. The collection provides insight to the process of creating and marketing a highly anticipated concert tour. The Genesis Collection is arranged alphabetically by format.
- Biography / Administrative HistoryGenesis is an English progressive rock band that formed in 1967. The band currently consists of Phil Collins, Mike Rutherford, and Tony Banks. Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett also played major roles in the band in its early years. From 1967-1997, the band released 15 studio albums and sold approximately 150 million albums worldwide. In 2007, after a ten year hiatus, Banks, Collins, and Rutherford reunited for a 20-city tour of Europe and North America titled the "Turn It On Again" tour, in support of a greatest hits album of the same name. Genesis was inducteed into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010.
