Biography / Administrative History
LL Cool J (a.k.a., Ladies Love Cool James), born James Todd Smith on January 14, 1968, is an American rapper and actor. He is famously known for romantic ballads such as "I Need Love," as well as pioneering early hip-hop with songs like "Rock the Bells." LL Cool J was one of twelve nominees for the 2010 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductions.
