- Scope and ContentsThe Marie Vivolo Flyer Collection consists of 16 digital images of scanned concert flyers, radio program guides, photographs, and 1 original concert flyer from national and local bands at Cleveland area venues. Featured bands include Devo, Iggy Pop, Iron Butterfly, John Cale, Lucky Pierre, Pagans, and Wild Giraffes. Featured venues include Johnny Dromette's Real World Nightclub, Agora, and Pirate's Cove. The materials were created circa 1970s and 1980s, and shed light on the history and promotion of the music scene in Cleveland, Ohio, with regard to rock, punk rock, and new wave bands.
- Existence and Location of OriginalsAfter digitization, original flyers and photographs in this collection were returned to the donor on December 3, 2016.
- NotesAcquisition Note: The Marie Vivolo Flyer Collection was received by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, Inc., as a gift from Vivolo on December 3, 2016. This acquisition was made during a Scan Day event, funded by a Common Heritage grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
