The Wild Giraffes were an American punk band from Cleveland, Ohio. Members included Chris King, Edgar Reynolds, Jeff Iannini, Alan McGinty, Chris Burgess, Mike Terrell, Bill Elliott and Dave Ivan.

The Alan McGinty Collection is dated 1979 to 1988 and contains undated materials. The collection consists of flyers, photographs, a poster, and newspaper clippings on Cleveland area bands and record labels, with a focus on the band Wild Giraffes.
