Ella Jane Fitzgerald (April 25, 1917 – June 15, 1996) was an American jazz singer. Fitzgerald began her career singing with Chick Webb's Orchestra, with Fitzgerald taking over as bandleader after Webb's death in 1939. She left in 1942 to begin her solo career. Fitzgerald was known for her tone, diction, improvisation, and phrasing. Over the course of her 60-year career, Fitzgerald received fourteen Grammy Awards, the National Medal of Arts, and Presidental Medal of Freedom.

The collection includes business and membership cards, photographs, sheet music, lyrics, and a poster. The photographs are promotional photographs with one autographed by Fitzgerald.
