Bunny Paul (May 21, 1924–2014) was a singer and songwriter based in Detroit, Michigan. She began her professional music career in the 1940s and recorded more than fifty singles across a range of popular styles, including rockabilly. In 1955, Paul signed with Capitol Records, after which she returned to Detroit and recorded for several independent labels. Her career largely ended after a brain tumor in 1960 resulted in partial facial paralysis.

The Michele Blomberg Collection on Bunny Paul dates from 1947 to 1983 and includes some undated materials. The collection documents the professional career of Detroit-based singer and songwriter Bunny Paul through a variety of formats, including newspaper and magazine clippings, photographs, a professional musical score, correspondence, and contracts. Of particular note is a handwritten musical score for Paul’s song “We Wanted to Marry.” The materials provide insight into Paul’s recording career and professional activities and are of research interest to those studying women musicians and songwriters, as well as the history of popular music in Detroit and the surrounding region.
