- Scope and ContentsThe Collection of Elvis Presley Photographs contains twelve images of or related to Presley. The photographs are primarily black-and-white, and, in addition to Elvis, they feature Priscilla and Lisa Marie Presley, as well as Elvis' parents. There are three color snapshots that were likely taken at Graceland. The photographs are arranged in the order which they were received.
- Biography / Administrative HistoryElvis Aaron Presley (January 8, 1935-August 16, 1977) was one of the most popular American singers of the twentieth century. A cultural icon, he is often referred to as the "King of Rock and Roll," or simply "the King." He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986.
