Garbage is a Scottish and American rock band formed in 1993 in Madison, Wisconsin. The band's line-up consists of Scottish singer Shirley Manson (vocals) and American musicians Duke Erikson (guitar, bass, keyboards), Steve Marker (guitar, keyboards), and Butch Vig (drums). has remained unchanged since its inception.

: The Shirley Manson "Queer" Clarinet Arrangement was received by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum, Inc. as a loan from Shirley Manson in 1999. The loan was transferred to a gift to the Museum on October 19, 2022.
