Subgroup II: Curatorial Department is dated 1988-2009, and includes undated materials. It is divided into eight series: Series 1: Curatorial Coordinator Files, Series 2: Grand Opening Files, Series 3: Assistant Curator Files, Series 4: Publications, Series 5: Unsolicited Materials, Series 6: Publications Manager, Series 7: Curator, and Series 8: Curatorial Director. The Curatorial Department consists of the director, an associate curator (based in New York), and an assistant curator. A previous position was that of curatorial coordinator. Each staff member is responsible for collecting artifacts, establishing and maintaining artist relations, and curating exhibits.
