- Biografie / VerwaltungsgeschichteFamily Dog was a production company formed by Chet Helms in 1966 for the purpose of promoting concerts. Family Dog held a series of concerts between April 1966 and November 1968, featuring a mix of artists and music styles, including blues, rock, and soul. Family Dog worked with prominent San Francisco artists to create a series of innovative psychedelic posters to promote their concerts.
- Form und InhaltThe Family Dog Concert Posters consist of two replicas of an original poster created by artist, Ami Magill-Proctor, for a Family Dog produced concert for Lovin' Spoonful and Charlatans dated October 24, 1965. The replicas are dated 1992 and are signed by Magill.
