Herb Ritts (August 13, 1952 – December 26, 2002) was an American fashion photographer and director. He is best known for his work with celebrities, models and cultural figures of the 1980s and 1990s.

The Herb Ritts Photographs are dated 1986 to 1993 and consist of 60 original silver gelatin or platinum prints created and signed by Ritts. Musicians featured include Bono, David Bowie, Tracy Chapman, Cher, Aretha Franklin, Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, Mick Jagger, Elton John, k.d. lang, Little Richard, Courtney Love, Madonna, Sinead O'Connor, Prince, Axl Rose and Bruce Springsteen. The collection is arranged alphabetically by artist. The collection will be of interest to researchers looking for photographs of popular artist of the 1980s and early 1990s as well as those interested in fashion style photography.
