Jann Wenner founded Rolling Stone magazine in 1967. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004, and has been actively involved in the organization since its beginning in 1983.
Lynn Goldsmith is an award-winning portrait photographer whose work has appeared internationally in galleries and museums.

The Photograph of Jann Wenner was taken in New York by Lynn Goldsmith in 1978. It is a black-and-white, matted print, approximately 26" x 28", that shows Wenner playing guitar.
