Collection on Peter Laughner

Peter Laughner was a Cleveland musician and writer best known for his work with bands Rocket From the Tombs and Pere Ubu. He is considered a founding father of the Cleveland punk scene. As Lester Bangs wrote, Laughner was "a casualty of the times," and he passed away at the age of 24 on June 22, 1977.

The Collection on Peter Laughner documents the work of Cleveland musician Peter Laughner. It includes a poster for Laughner's first band, a white blues group named Mr. Charlie, two audio recordings, and a copy of Creem magazine from March 1976 that features a review by Laughner of Lou Reed's album Coney Island Baby.
