- Biographie / Histoire administrativeRecord Rendezvous was record store in Cleveland, Ohio owned by Leo Mintz. The store was located on Prospect Ave, on the edge of Cleveland's black communities, and displayed records so that customers could browse and listen before purchasing. Record Rendezvous was expanded to a chain of five stores in the 1960s. Mintz is attributed with helping with the early establishment and promotion of rock and roll music through his support of Alan Freed and his radio show.
