Scope and Contents
Series VII: Business contains materials from the latter portion of Ertegun's career, from 1970-2007 with some undated items. The files are generally arranged by subject, however, additional items were added to the end of the series after the initial set was processed. The group of files labeled "Working and travel documents" were described by an archivist who worked on the collection prior to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's acquisition. These files contain a wide variety of material, from internal memos to handwritten notes, as well as many phone messages.
