- Scope and ContentsThe Tom Hamilton Aerosmith Collection consists of one handbill for Alex Cooley's Electric Ballroom, Atlanta, 1975 with shows by Aerosmith, Steely Dan, ELO, and others. Also included are a blank piece of stationery and envelope featuring the Aero Force One fan club logo and a postcard or the Joe Perry Project International Fan Club.
- Biography / Administrative HistoryAerosmith is an American rock band formed in Boston, Massachusetts in 1970. Members include Steven Tyler, Tom Hamilton, Joey Kramer, Joe Perry, and Brad Whitford. Their style is rooted in blues-based hard rock, but also incorporates elements of pop rock, heavy metal, and rhythm and blues. Some of their most well know songs include "Walk This Way," "Toys In The Attic," "Back In The Saddle," "Same Old Song and Dance," and "Love In An Elevator." Aerosmith was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.
