Little Steven's Underground Garage Radio Programs (Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum Collection) consists of compact disc recordings of the show and accompanying paperwork. The recordings and papers date from December 2003 to April 2008. The papers are broken down by show number and contain an introductory paragraph and synopsis of the show; track listings of all the songs played; promo descriptions on each episode's second disc; and a certificate of performance to be filled out by the radio station confirming that all national sponsor commercials aired during the show. The collection materials are separated by format, arranged chronologically by date of broadcast, and inventoried at the item-level.
Little Steven's Underground Garage is a two-hour radio show; written, hosted, and produced by Steven Van Zandt. The show debuted in 2003, and is currently heard on over two hundred FM radio stations in the United States, and can also be heard on Sirius Radio. The show plays a mixture of garage rock, both old and new, as well as the music that influenced today's garage rock.
