Series VIII: Digital Images, circa 1970s-1980s

Scope and Contents:

Series VIII: Digital Images consists of 1,018 scanned photographs and documents. The Series contains images of artists and producers associated with FAME Studios, including, but not limited to, Liza Minnelli, Donny Osmond, Paul Anka, Clarence Carter, Candi Staton, Travis Wammack, Jerry Wexler, and FAME Studios' owner Rick Hall. Also in the series are photographs of Muscle Shoals, the FAME recording studio, a Lefty Frizzell autograph, musical instruments, and recording equipment, as well as images of Rick Hall and his family. The majority of the images are unidentified. There is one folder of eight prints that were used in an exhibit.
